Our Passion for Trainees
Here in the Rapp lab we value our trainees as much as the research we do. In the Rapp lab, you'll receive support and mentorship, as well as a strong sense of community and empowerment to pursue your own ideas! We are interested in applications for all positions, including high school students looking to gain research experience, students from local Community Colleges looking to experience research in a Chemistry lab, to UO undergraduate research assistants and PhD candidates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, and Biology.

Rapp Undergraduates for Photodynamic Orthogonal Biomaterials Engineering
Responding to a huge amount of interest in undergraduate research in the Rapp Lab, we're beta testing a unique Immersive Research Experience at the UO, bringing on a cohort of 10 undergraduates to work collectively on a research project. Our Winter/Spring 2024 cohort is now full, check this space again in Summer 2024 to see if there are openings!
